The Digital Research Library of Illinois History Journal Dale Forguson posted Bill Edrington: This is the IC depot. It shares some architectural features with the preserved former Chicago & Alton/GM&O depot at Pekin, which makes sense, because both were built by the St. Louis, Peoria & Northern. The StLP&N went broke and was broken in two; the C&A acquired the portion north of Springfield and the IC acquired the portion south of Springfield in 1899. Richard Fiedler shared |
