VINTAGE SOCIAL MEDIA! Neat research find! Post Card of the Macomb C,B&Q Railroad Depot, circa 1900. This preceded the current Depot which was built in 1913. Interesting things in this post card: The view is looking East. The Train is Westbound. This Depot sat East of Randolph Street, which is the street the horse and wagon are on. In the background, the building that Conner Co, is in, on the North side of the railroad tracks, between Campbell and Dudley Streets. I am not sure what was in the building on this date, but it later became part of Makomb Steel Products, and later a creamery/cheese factory. A later photograph from this same angle, taken in 1909, show a crossing gate and a crossing guard tower on the North side of the tracks. EnJoY! JCC

Frank Hicks: That factory to the left of the engine in the background, between Campbell and Dudley, was Macomb Pottery (after 1906, Western Stoneware Plant #3) which burned down in 1913.
