I’m sure there was some traffic to and from the Q in Galena.

The track along the Mississippi River that is labeled Illinois Central was in fact a joint line between CB&Q, IC and Chicago Great Western. The CB&Q continued North in East Dubuque while CGW and IC crossed the river. In Dubuque, CGW went North and IC went South a little bit and then it turned West. Today, the line along the Mississippi River is shared by BNSF and CN.
