Sandoval, IL: Depot and Junction Office: OOS/B&O vs. Aban/IC

Sandoval, Illinois IC and B&O Depot

Sandoval, IL,  was on the charter line of the IC, so it has been gone since the 1980s. It is also on the B&O segment that CSX isolated in July, 2015. So currently it does not have any rail service.

They built the agent office sticking out of the corner of the depot so that it could double as the junction "tower." The depot was in the northeast quadrant.
