Parsons, KS: MK&T Depot, Backshop, Roundhouse and Railyard

Depot: (Satellite)
Backshop: (Satellite, TM Track Machines now owns the buildings.)
Roundhouse: (Satellite, the pin is on the turntable and the foundation remnants are to the West.)
Railyard: (Satellite, UP has kept most of the tracks.)

MK&T = Missouri, Kansas, & Texas

A backshop with longitudinal tracks instead of transverse is very unusual. Note it takes two overhead cranes to move a locomotive. With a transverse arrangement either one overhead crane with two hooks or an outside transfer table can be used to move the locomotives.

The roundhouse remnants.
Satellite

The MKT had three "spokes" on the north side and two on the south side. This helped me find the depot's location and taught me to look for evidence of a roundhouse.
