Turntable: (Satellite)
Central of Georgia was a separate railroad in 1928, but it was merged into Southern in 1963.

Steam excursions are run by the Tennessee Valley Railroad between Chattanooga and Summerville. [tvrail]

I was curious as to what type of railyard surrounded the turntable back in the day. So I found an old aerial photo to check it out. That is when I discovered that this turntable did not use to be in this town!

In fact, it was in the L&N Boyles Yard in Birmingham, and it was moved here in 2003. CSX donated it.
