This SOO route was the Minneapolis, St Paul & Sault Ste Marie instead of the Wisconsin Central.

The train order semaphore is down so the fireman has his arm out to snag the train orders.

Soo Baldwin 361 clanks across the NP diamonds at Detroit Lakes. The train order mast with orders hung out, along with the clean Baldwin and the manned tower give a good feel for 1960's era railroading. August, 1962.
