Gary Miller posted two images with the comment: "Last for today...This is a reprint of the article that was first in Family Lines magazine in 1977. This is a 4 page flyer describing the new yard in Louisville, KY. In was renamed Osborne Yard in 1979."

I include the South Louisville Yards at the top because I was a little surprised that they still existed in the 1980's. If you look at a satellite map, all of that land has been repurposed by the university.

As usual for railroad research, I started with a 1950s topo map. But I soon realized that the Osborn Railyard had yet to be built.

A library has a L&N Osborne Yard Diagram in their collection, but it evidently hasn't been digitized.
