This railyard was replaced over the decades by the Osborn Railyard.

Dennis DeBruler Thanks for the stadium clue. On a historical aerial photo, I see there were extensive backshop buildings were the stadium itself now sits. And the classification tracks are now part of the "Green Lot."

Update: I have learned how to access historical aerials that don't have a copyright. I included Churchill Downs because it makes it easier to correlate the photo with a contemporary satellite image.
