Bloomington, IN: Monon Depot

(Satellite, it is long gone)

I knew that Monon passenger trains stopped in the street in Lavayette, IN, to load passengers. This post shows that they also did it in Bloomington. It was on Morton between 4th and 5th.

Bloomington Station Stop
This is a northbound Amtrak Floridian making its station stop at Bloomington, Indiana. Once again, the line was the Louisville & Nashville at the time, but formerly the Monon, as the sign attests.

It appears that Hyatt Place now sits on the depot's land.

I recently acquired from an estate 24 2"X3-1/2" Monon photographs that were taken in Lafayette and Bloomington in 1948 and 1949. The photographs are not labeled, and I need assistance identifying them-I have scanned nine of them.
