| Andy Zukowski posted The Union 74 Coal Mine Peru Illinois, C.1910 [Westclox] Steven Holding: There was a mine-mouth coal generating power house and car barn at the same location until the boiler house burned which resulted in the McKinley interests taking control. They mined coal here until 1942 if i remember right. |
