It is so nice to see a power plant that still has coal barges and piles of coal.

Unit 3 was added in 1977. [cardinalopco]
As I noticed in the first street view, it looks like Unit 3 was built downstream from the first two units. And it was built with scrubbers. That is, it doesn't have an old smokestack. I don't know why the one it has is so short.

The next day I came across this photo. It looks like all three units are running as of Sep 2023.

Even something as conceptually simple as placing screens on the cooling water intake to help save fish can be complicated. In this case sedimentation was the issue. [iihrengineering]
