Girardville, Pennsylvania posted East Bear Ridge Colliery at the eastern end of Mahanoy Plane. The highway between Mahanoy Plane and Maizeville went right through the breaker/ Concrete foundation of breaker can still be seen alongside the highway about a quarter mile past MP. |
