Johannott, IL: Junction Tower: Milwaukee vs. C&EI

(Satellite, the tower was in the northwest quadrant.)

Larry Candilas posted six images with the comment: "A real good obscure location - Johannott IL, MP 109.5 where MLW crossed the very unique C&EI branch from Rossville IL to Judyville IN."

Philip Kulina: So is this looking north or south ?

Larry Candilas: Philip Kulina I'd say north going with the diagram from 1926 which shows a tower symbol.

I could not find the tower in 1940 aerial photos, yet the branch still shows up in a 1962 timetable.
