3 Old Gas Stations in Lorain, Ohio

1. Reid Avenue,  was a Sunoco & Gulf Station and even a Florist. 

2. Old Sinclair Station @ Grove & East 28th Street

3. Benny's which was an old Citgo Station on Reid.

None of the 3 currently have gas pumps but are still there.

Lorain, Ohio: "This restored former Cities Service station is situated at 805 Reid Avenue on the corner of West 8th Street.  It now houses Benny's Carriage Shoppe, an auto detailing business. The structure originally served as a Cities Service gas station starting around the 1930s before becoming a Citgo station in later years. The building was restored approximately 15-20 years ago to resemble its original 1930s appearance.+

Michael Ragusa: Cities Service changed its name to Citgo in 1965. I remember the name change.

The photograph is a picture of a 1950's Cities Service station.

Wayne Henderson: This station design was developed in 1954.
