Windsor, IL: Moved/Big Four and Lost/Wabash Depots

Big Four: (Satellite)
Original Wabash: (Satellite?, it was down by the junction. The bay window would have been facing Vine Street because that is the street that the Wabash used to get through town.)

The former Wabash depot in Windsor, IL, circa 1975. Before this photo was taken, the building had been rotated 90° and appeared to be for sale. It still stands today as a residence, with the former Wabash line beside it and the old NYC line behind, both long removed. John & Roger Kujawa Photo, Thomas Dyrek Collection.

Both Depots

The Wabash tracks were already gone by 1947. The aerial photo indicates that they went through town on Vince Street.
