This has the standard design of a big freight door on the right, a regular door and windows on the left for the waiting room, and a bay window for the agent's desk. But they enhanced the standard design with a huge gable over the bay window.

I am a member of the Frankton History Club and we have started a GoFundMe to raise funds to purchase the Frankton train depot.  The funds will be used to purchase the depot and the surrounding land.  Once the depot is purchased we will begin applying for grants to help fund the restoration of the depot with the longterm goal to turn the depot into a musuem/community center.  If you would like to help us by donating to our project please use this GoFundMe link: https://gofund.me/9e9d8048

Brent McClain: Update: We have reached our $30k goal in less than a month. The residents of Frankton have really stepped up with their giving. It has been a neat experience to hear each one's memory of the depot. The contract has been drawn up for the purchase of the depot. The first thing that will be done with the extra funds is to repair the roof. We will work to secure grants to help with the rest of the restoration.
