LaGrange, IN: 1907-15 Aerial View and Lost/GR&I Depot

(Satellite)

GR&I = Grand Rapids and Indiana Railroad

You can use the courthouse square to orient yourself. US-20 is below the bottom of the picture. My interest in this photo is that it shows the Grand Rapids & Indiana (GR&I) going through the east side of town.

Street View
These power lines would be built on the old GR&I right-of-way. Based on the aerial photo (red rectangle below) and Walnut Street, I believe it was north of Spring Street and west of the power lines.

A before and after at Lagrange, Indiana on the former Grand Rapids and Indiana Railroad. Debra Gould provided the first picture of a southbound train passing the depot in 1909 at Spring and Walnut Streets. I took the current photo on 3.2 25 with everything long gone. The tracks were removed around 1980 but I'm not sure when the last train came through. I've searched quite a bit for train photos of Lagrange and there's and I've only been able to find a couple.
Nathan Nietering: Is there No evidence of where the tracks went in the brick of the street? Or is that just modern concrete stamped and colored to look like brick?
