Index 28 is just south of Brereton.

My 2005 SPV Map shows that the  BNSF/CB&Q route on the west side of Brereton was still active. But a contemporary satellite image shows that the tracks have been removed. I used Global Earth to try to figure out when the tracks were pulled. But the images of interest had poor resolution. This topo shows that there used to be a spur along the south side of Brereton to serve the tipple.
