Undated Colorado & Southern Railway Roundhouse and Turntable, Denver, Colorado. Built 1900 and finally abandoned in 1970's. Not sure if anything remains today. Was located near 7th St NE of I-25.
Jeff Ramsey: The roundhouse was demolished when Ellich Gardens developed the property in the late 1990s although the turntable remained a few years. Later the turntable was disassembled and moved in pieces to Chama, New Mexico for possible service on the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad. The turntable was never put in operation and as of date is still disassembled in pieces and survives at Chama.

The Colorado and Southern was forced to build a new set of shops in Denver, CO when the owner of its rented shops, the Pullman Car Company, needed to expand its operations. This site was established in 1904. (American Railway Shop Systems)

Chilling at the Roundhouse

Here we see Colorado & Southern No. 68 B-4-D 2-8-0 Consolidation No. 68 was was built by Baldwin Locomotive Works in December of 1890 as Denver, Leadville & Gunnsion No. 269.
