St. Louis, MO: Grand Junction Tower: Frisco crossed MoPac+Wabash and Grain Elevator

Tower: (Satellite, Scott Ave. was added and the Wabash RoW was moved south for the light-rail line.)

To the east of this junction, all three railroads become the Terminal Railroad Association of St. Louis (TRRA).

Look at all of those double-slip turnouts. This is where I concluded that the Frisco crosses the MoPac and then the Wabash. We can see that the tower was between the Wabash and MoPac tracks a little left of halfway between Grand and Theresa Streets. And the model board above confirms my interpretation that the Frisco crossed the other two railroads here.

I originally expanded the aerial photo excerpt to include the grain elevator. (I had noticed the checkerboard logo just left of the tower in the top photo.) But then I expanded the excerpt to the West to include the other industry along the Wabash route. And I also expanded it to the South to include the industry between MoPac and Frisco.

The logo has worn off. But according to Google Maps, it is owned by Ray-Carroll, a grain company.
