The image of the junction reminds us that Class I railroads do not like diamonds because they are a maintenance headache. So the "CMO" route is now two separate branches. There are no through trains on it.

D Scott Peterson posted Jim Arvites posted View of the new Chicago & North Western Railway passenger depot and tower at Wyeville, Wisconsin in June 1912. This new depot replaced an earlier structure in 1912. Passenger service ended on July 23, 1963 when the "Twin Cities 400" and "Rochester 400" were discontinued. Today the station and tower are gone..
