The town no longer has rail service, but I did find a roundhouse and depot because they have a little railroad museum. The depot is the first building from the bottom on the left of the satellite photo.

Its 1989 were at Spooner Wis station.

[Some comments indicate that the last train was CNW-992 and that the route is now owned by Wisconsin Great Northern and that they use it for car storage. And several comments indicate that the museum is nice.]

Bryan Much posted 21 photos with the comment: "Spooner (CNW) depots and roundhouse.  Passenger and freight depots were constructed in 1902.  The roundhouse was built in 1915.  The site is being preserved as a railroad park in Spooner and the roundhouse is being restored to some extent. Spooner was named for a railroad attorney.  There was a large passenger depot, freight depots, a restaurant, express office, switching yards, locomotive/car shops, offices, roundhouse, and lumberyards.  About 600 people were employed there.  Previously I reported about the nearby tourist railroad near Trego."
