Grafton, IA: 1878-1974 Museum/Milwaukee Depot and Two Wood Grain Elevators

Depot: (Satellite
North Elevator: (Satellite)
South Elevator: (Satellite)

The depot is on the right and the north wood grain elevator is to the left of the depot. Note the large wood annex. And we can see a fall protector next to the newer part of the elevator.

Unfortunately, the sun harms this view of both wood grain elevators.

The north elevator has expanded significantly.

John Harker posted four images with the comment: "BL Bud Bulgrin photographed Milw south bound Austin to Mason City train 650 by the Grafton, Iowa depot on Monday, December 3rd, 1984.  He would have been stand on or near the 3rd Street crossing to get this view.  This day’s train was pulled by two SDL39s with 583 in the lead.   A Milw 650 – 651 train schedule, a Milw employee timetable and a Google Earth image are included for reference.  John Harker image editing and collection"

CPKC owns the route, but Dakota, Minnesota & Eastern operates it.
