The topo does not mark the location of the depot. I wonder what the black dots mean. There were quite a few tracks in town back then.

This very old picture shows the first passenger train ever to stop in Geneseo on February 22, 1854.. The train was traveling from Chicago to Rock Island. Folks came by horseback, buggy, wagon and on foot to celebrate this historic event.
