Mark Llanuza posted Its Jan 1975 its still double main line track from Chicago to savanna IL on the Milwaukee Road D&I sub division with a working agent still inside the station .I went back in 2015 to line everything back to what it looks like today .the grain building is still there to the far right. |

Mark Llanuza posted Its May 1976 I'm at Milwaukee Road's Hampshire IL station on the D&I division . Its still double track to Savanna IL but this was the final year that it was double track as this was the they started single tracking the main line in sections. Note on the left side of this photo that they were able to find an old bottle dispenser. The No Photography" sign explains why I didn't find any photos of the inside.

I spotted three pumps with the old glass cylinder design in this older street view.

ChronicleIllinois He usually goes through about 75 pumps a year. "The majority of the pumps they work on are from the 1940s and 1950s, but Ross has a few from the ’20s and ’30s — all of which are very rare and worth thousands, he said." |
He explains that these pumps are, from left to right, 1903, 1920 and 1931.
