Can anyone identify this building?  I think it is Relay Depot.
Jim Ripley: Yes
The bridge is the approach to the Veterans now King Bridge.
Mike Sypult shared
Mark Feldmann: West end of the L&N yard?
Dennis Smith: Relay depot had lots of trouble there in a war zone. [I presume that was gang warfare.]

This map shows the L&N yard was south of the Eads Bridge, whereas the King Bridge is north of the Eads Bridge. It looks like it was west of the Pennsy/Vandalia Yard.  https://www.flickr.com/photos/barrigerlibrary/50994449212/in/album-72157718488419592/

This topo map is consistent with the building being next to a connector to the west end of the Vandalia Yard. 1968 Granite City Quadrangle @ 1:24,000 [Dennis DeBruler]
