I was visiting the small rail museum in Cowan, TN when CSX K443 rolled by headed south towards Waycross, GA. Interesting little museum BTW

Jamie Elliott posted seven photos with the comment: "Cowan, Tennessee at the former station now a railroad museum. Current csx mainline is behind station."
Vince Webb: We just recently installed a rail fanning camera there at the depot. You can watch the live feed here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fvpaEFaLpho

While checking out the Cumberland Mountain Tunnel marker for the NC&StL Cowan Tunnel, I noticed that the town still has some Italianate Architecture buildings. The windows along the street have been remodeled, but the side window on the far left looks original. I included the marker in the center front and the museum/depot on the right side. This town exists because of the workers needed to build that 2228' (679m) long tunnel from 1848 to 1852.
