Fire was the inspiration for inventing slip-form concrete silo elevators. I captured several street views because examples of wooden elevators are disappearing. This looks like it was a rather big elevator in its day for a rural area. I wonder if it was still actively being used. It looks like they may have built a building next to it to convert it into a feed mill. Or sometimes a local farmer will buy them.
