To my surprise, at least part of the hoist and safety ladder still exists. Normally, the metal parts would be stripped long before Eric's 2001 photo.

Dennis DeBruler: It is so unusual to see a coaling tower that still has its metal pieces. This is an excellent view of the skip hoist.
