This Google Earth Image from 6-7-2011 best shows the visual remains of the pads. Location: 38.1531943,-98.0916214
Dennis DeBruler: Terry B. Carlson I'm glad you found it because the oldest hi-res topo map is 1970, and the roundhouse was gone by then.

I don't remember seeing a seed grain elevator before. Normally, seed is stored in seed boxes and stored in warehouse buildings. I included the seed delivery trailers in this view because they are part of the solution to sell seed in bulk.

On the south side of the seed elevator, we see many more bins. In the right background, we see the market grain storage elevator.

This is the same view as above, but old enough to show the wood elevator that made it into the 21st Century. Note that the four modern bins north of the warehouse building didn't exist back then.

I noticed in this view that it caught a seed trailer being loaded out of one of the bins.

A satellite view gives us a better view of the many bins needed for seed corn. Google Earth shows that they converted from the wood elevator to the four white bins between Jul 2008 and Sep 2010.

They have several different bins because different crops would need different bins. In fact, different hybrids probably need different bins.
"A full lineup of corn, soybeans, wheat, alfalfa, sorghum, feed, and cover crops are available with both bag and bulk capabilities. Seed cleaning and treating services with delivery support equipment are also available." Their seed salesperson is also a "trait manager." [cpcoop_seed]
