Like all company generated birds-eye views of that era, the plant would have been likely 1/4 that size. [And note the black smoke coming out of the smokestack as a sign of prosperity.] |
John Claus Peters not only help invent the washing machine (Horton Washing Machine), he owned several other enterprises including Peters Box and Lumber, Wayne Hotel, and this Indiana Road Machine. [FortWayne]
