Keewatin, MN: US Steel Keetac Iron Ore Pellet Plant

(Satellite)

US Steel posted
It was a great day to celebrate a $150 million investment in direct reduced (DR)-grade pellet capabilities at our Minnesota Ore Operations Keetac plant. This investment marks a step forward in our commitment to the future of American steel by supplying the increasingly tight DR-grade pellet market and creating the ability to supply a facility that produces critical metallic inputs for electric arc furnaces (EAFs).
Thank you, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, and the many state and local officials for joining us today. We value the communities where we live and work, and the Iron Range remains a critical part of our future. https://bit.ly/3yjghai
[According to the comments, in the meantime the employees are on strike.]

The land reclamation regulations that applies to coal mining doesn't apply to iron ore mining?
