Nora, IL: and Winslow, IL: Lost/IC Depots

Winslow: (Satellite)

Nora is on the IC mainline that went west from Chicago, and Winslow is on the IC Dodgeville Branch that was abandoned in 1942.

This is on the Iowa division of the Illinois Central Railroad

Tyson Park: It looks similar to the ones still standing in Genoa and Seward along the CN Freeport Subdivision.

Thanks. A topo map did not show this building. Only the two buildings south of the tracks. So I would have guessed wrong. It is interesting how much the roads were changed in this town. What is your source for these maps? Sanborn Maps? Topo maps are not accurate enough. 1946 aerial photo
Brian Berthold: Dennis DeBruler i make them myself using all different types .. sanborns sometimes topos, pictures, track plans. aerials, ect its in the files section - railroads kmz ... also traction and specials (things that don't fit into railroads or traction)

It's on the Illinois Central line to Wisconsin.

It looks like it was in the northwest quadrant of the tracks and Bridge St. The Ivey Pond Trail is on the old RoW. https://maps.app.goo.gl/CHqWRJ73RDvUW89G9
