Tower: (Satellite, you can still see the foundation for the walls.)

This tower is west of Wallace Yards.

This is a rare image of West Junction at the West side of Wallace Yards at Freeport Illinois...
The tracks here go North to Wisconsin.
The Dodgeville line and the Madison line start here at West Jct.

Dirk Craig: what RR is this?
Dennis DeBruler: CN/Illinois Central I marked the tree-line of the branch that used to go North to Wisconsin. https://maps.app.goo.gl/ws9bFugLRdM8TKQm6 The two branches into Wisconsin that this route fed are abandoned. But CN still has Wallace Yards to the east. You can still see the foundation of the tower: https://maps.app.goo.gl/LNdwvNm5HjLwjwzZA

The Madison District came straight off the WB main. Tower foundation is in the weeds to left of the bungalow. The 1944 profile image capture is from jonroma.net.
