Union Station is in the middle, the caboose is on the right and the grain bins of the feed mill is on the left.
This was the original depot on the Southern route. I wonder who has maintained the roof so far.

Mark Austin posted Original Selma NC station getting a new foundation. Just down a smidge is the 1924 newer station. [I can tell by the buildings on the right that the depot has yet to be moved. So it is not getting its new foundation here. It will get the new foundation down by Sellers and Railroad Streets.] |

It is nice seeing Amtrak using a train station instead of building a shack somewhere else.
It looks like CSX has kept this ACL route.
The feed mill is huge. It has a loop of track to efficiently handle unit trains. I think the unloading is on the west side of the loop and loading is on the north side. Of note is that the majority of the cars in the yard are tank cars instead of hoppers.
I can get a view of the west end of the loop. I see there is also a loading facility near the south end of the loop on the right side of this view.
But most of the facility is used to receive freight from CSX and NS, store it, and then load it onto trucks.
