This is the first time I have seen a blue fall protector.

| Steven Kerner posted Heard a rumor this weekend and had to go see if it was true… yes it is, there ripping down the hallock elevator in hallock, mn. I remember until about 2020 they used to get 30 to 40 cars on and off, mainly fall and winter and about that time Bnsf’s started up the hallock local. Keith Finney: South annex is being torn down. Many more wood cribbed elevators will go down. Can't get insurance. Jason Jordan shared |

I started with a 1973 aerial photo because it has a scale of 15,000, which is good scale.

But I didn't see anything appropriate between 5th and 6th Streets. The problem with a 1970s photo is that some depots have been torn down by then. So, I got the 1952 aerial since the above photo caption indicates it was extant in the 1960s. Hopefully, a scale of 60,000 would be good enough. Because of the shadows, the building south of 2nd Street on the west side of the tracks became obvious. I believe that was the depot. And, once I knew where to look, I saw that building in the 1973 aerial.

This topo map also marks the location of the depot.
