They restore locomotives and run excursion trains.

Obviously, this is where Doyle McCormack restored the NKP 190 that is now in Scranton, PA.

Because restoration of old equipment requires machining replacement parts, they have their own machine shop.

Southern Pacific Daylight #4449 sits majestically on the newly debuted Brooklyn turntable at the Oregon Rail Heritage Center in Portland, Oregon. It was a momentous day for the museum and the cumulation of years of planning and hard work as for the first time since leaving the old exSP/UP Brooklyn roundhouse just over 10 years ago, the ‘49 was given a spin. A huge shoutout goes to all the people from volunteers, contractors, those that donated time or money, and the many others involved with bringing ORHF’s vision to life. Certainly an incredible accomplishment and major milestone.

Back in 2015, they didn't even have the hole for the turntable.

A satellite image caught the hole being prepared.

Now that 4449 was back on the turntable last Saturday, what were some of your memories of seeing her turning on the Turntable back in her days at the Brooklyn Roundhouse from 1981-2012?

[I wonder where the Brooklyn Roundhouse was.]

The Lady, “The Northwest‘s Own Locomotive“ Spokane Portland & Seattle Railway #700 finally gets her turn on the Brooklyn turntable at the Oregon Rail Heritage Center. Though not yet fully finished with her 1472 rebuild, she still is as regal as ever.
