Doug Hefty posted a photo of the Alba depot earlier this week; here's a couple more plus the track layout with the Michigan Central(Detroit and Charlevoix). The maps were prepared for the Michigan Public Service Commission in a request to remove the interlocking tower and replace it with a gate.

Greg Bunce posted four images with the comment: "Crossing of the Grand Rapids and Indiana Railway and the East Jordan Branch of the Michigan Central Railroad at Alba, Michigan. The East Jordan Branch was originally the Detroit and Charlevoix Railroad, a logging railroad that the Michigan Central acquired. By the 1920's traffic had dried up on the branch and the PRR (sucessor to the GR&I) and MC petitioned the Michigan Public Utilities Commission in 1929 for permission to replace the interlocking with a gate. The gate lasted four years as the MC abandoned the branch in 1933. More info on the photos."
