SIGECO (Southern Indiana Gas and Electric Co.) power plant at 2501 Broadway Ave., on the Ohio River. It was built in 1928.

Note the flood wall behind the pump house. As this photo shows, the pump house was surrounded by the river during the 1937 flood.
