| Rob Arnold posted In 1899, the Northern Pacific arrived in Hoquiam, Washington, in Grays Harbor County. They built a nice depot there in 1914, which served passengers until 1955 and freight runs until 1981. Fortunately, the depot was preserved and restored and now serves as a Department of Motor Vehicles office. The rail line next to the depot is still there and is used by the Puget Sound and Pacific Railroad. Photo by Robert A.
