The depot was moved twice. Once to Dunham Castle and again back to the tracks in 2007.

[He recognized it as an HO scale model by Revell.]
Edward Bridges It was also sold in N scale by Con-Cor.

Jim Fitz posted three photos with the comment: "My wife and I were driving down into Wayne, IL on Army Trail Rd. and ran into this beautiful little station. Anyone know anything about this station? Infront of the station are Union Pacific tracks. Behind the station is Dunham Forest Preserve."
Jerry Hund: This station was one of two passenger stations located on Army Trail Road in the town of Wayne. It was built in 1850 by the Galena and Chicago Union Railroad (later the Chicago and North Western Railroad). Interesting to note is that both stations were removed soon after passenger serviced ceased and repurposed. The C&NW station was moved in 1956 to the Dunham estate located on the northwest corner of Army Trail Road and Dunham Road and used as a horse shelter. The CA&E Wayne station was purchased by a local resident and in 1961 moved to their back yard and used as a shed. A stroke of good luck saw the C&NW station returned to its original location in 2007 and is being restored. The Wayne station belonging to the ChicagoAurora and Elgin was recently moved to the Fox River Trolley Museum.
Jeff Bloomdahl: Model of this depot was available years ago from Revell in HO Scale.
Davis Shroomberg: It is slowly being restored with the intent of becoming a museum.
Jeff Mathre: My son worked on the building putting new cedar siding on a few years ago. All the windows were also rebuilt.
