Since many group members presumably are experiencing wintry weather today, I offer a shot of a railroad structure covered in snow. This photo was taken January 6, 2003, but the tower remains standing. The track under the tower was removed a few years ago. Adams was a division point on the C&NW and remains a crew change point on the UP to this day.
