Montpelier, IN: Wabash Hub

Montpelier was the junction of two Wabash routes. One went from Toledo to Chicago and the other went from Detroit to St. Louis and Kansas City. The later went through Fort Wayne, IN, my home town. Jim Etchie posted a photo dump:
Some vintage photos (photographer unknown) of the Wabash , Montpelier , Ohio Hub! Circa 50's&60's ! The last photo is part of our HO , Wabash theme model RR club, in Montpelier.

Richard Fiedler The view is from the 80's. The second view when you zoom in shoes an "NW" high cube boxcar on one of the leads as well as "NW" lettered diesels on the ready tracks.
