Montpelier was the junction of two
Wabash routes. One went from Toledo to Chicago and the other went from Detroit to St. Louis and Kansas City. The later went through Fort Wayne, IN, my home town. Jim Etchie

What is left is an interchange yard between
Indiana Northeastern and Norfolk Southern.
