Sarnia, ON: Loading a laker with grain

Fred Miller II -> Fans of "Know Your Ships"

Fred's comment:
Sarnia, May, 1986, finds the LAKE MANITOBA, loading another grain cargo, for delivery to a lower lakes port, the tug MOUNT McKAY, resting at her dock, and the stern of the spoils carrier IV No 11 is visible, as she is tied up at the Government Dock.
A comment of interest:
Brandon Lee: I've seen the Lake Manitoba ( now the Algomarine ) many times up in the 1000 Islands. I love the look of these old lakers.

Andrew Meyer: I dont think 10 years ago I would have expected any of them to be gone at this point, especially the Enterprise.
