Chicago, IL Depot: IC's 57th Street Depot

Bill's comment:
The Illinois Central Railroad completed this large, ornate station at 57th Street in 1881. It survived until the 1930's, long after the IC tracks were elevated.

Chicago had so many depots along their railroads in the 1800s that I have not been bothering to post them. But this one was so ornate and Bill's comment was so informative that I thought it was worth the effort.
