Remnants of the CB&Q Mark Twain Zephyr shot from an overpass in Madison IL
Fortunately, John Czerwinski already found it on a map.

Mike Griesmann It is saved and in a safe place. It would cost over 3 million dollars to restore it. That is why nobody has tried. It is completely gutted. Until someone can come up with the money, time, and the expertise to restore it......it is fine just where it is at. Trust me....IRM is not interested in it.

Alex Timmerman What was the purchase price? Thought I once heard around 3 or 400,000.
Alex also thinks the place is called "Gateway Rail Services or something like that."

Update: because satellite images get updated, I'm saving a copy of the map link.
