The triangle on the left side of this photo is what allowed me to confirm the depot's position in the 1939 aerial photo below. That triangle was just west of Main Avenue.

CB&Q E5A 9915B and an E7A with Train 21 on August 20, 1964, flying through Milledgeville, IL The train looks too big to be just the Morning Zephyr, but in August it usually was not combined with the North Coast Limited or Empire Builder. |
It looks like the siding was torn up just recently.
