The branch through Mt. Ary used to run all the way down to just south of Albany, MO.

By 1958, the track south of Mt. Ayr had been abandoned.

The town has grain storage on the east side and fertilizer supply on the west side of Linden Street.

Here is another example of using a leg with multiple drops rather than an auger in the peak of the ceiling to fill a building with a bulk material. In this case, I presume it is dry fertilizer.
