They had a couple of signs describing their barn. It was an 1850s barn that was deconstructed and then reconstructed on the Trantina Farm Site. It now serves as an interpretive center.
I took some interior shots to capture the beam work. My Grandfather had a barn whose hay mow had the same T's with diagonal bracing. They did not use nails. A beam terminates in a notch in the other beam.
